The National Council of Churches of Singapore is deeply grieved and concerned by reports of suspicious parcels sent to several mosques, containing materials that appear intended to cause offence. Such acts have no place in our society. They undermine the trust and mutual respect that form the foundation of our multi-religious harmony.

We express deep concern and sorrow over recent reports of provocative actions targeting members of the Muslim community in Singapore.

The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS) is grieved by such provocative acts, and we deeply empathise with the affected Muslim community. MCS stands in solidarity with all Muslims in Singapore.
